Using the FTP Budget Offset utility
This planning utility allows you to post Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) entries to offset FTP data types FTP, ANNFTP, FTPSPRD, ANNFTPSPRD to zero out FTP at the company level.
IMPORTANT: Before using this utility, make sure to configure or edit the FTP Assignment Rate Budget utility. You will not be able to process this utility until the driver is configured.
Posting offsetting FTP entries to the database
IMPORTANT: Using this utility should be the last step of FTP budgeting.
NOTE: This utility only functions if you enable FTP for your budget or forecast.
To configure and use the FTP Assigned Rate Budget utility:
- Open a budget, scenario, or forecast.

From the Plan Utilities tab, click FTP Budget Offset Utility from the list of planning utilities.
NOTE: The utility opens in the Desktop Client.

In the Main ribbon tab, click Refresh.

In the Refresh Variables dialog, click Choose Value, select the company, and click OK. The utility automatically selects the funding center department where the offsets are recorded and saved.
NOTE: The query on the Report sheet retrieves FTP data summed by account, budget or forecast rollup, and data type. The query automatically groups by product if a product column is present on the plan reporting table and the ProdBudgetGroupingColumn file group variable is populated.
- To save the FTP offset entries to the database, in the Main ribbon tab, click Save.
- When you are done, close the utility.
Processing calculations and annualized FTP for a budget
To process calculations and annualized FTP for a budget:

Open a budget, scenario, or forecast.

Click the Plan Utilities tab.

Do one of the following:

To process only this utility, in the Process Plan Utilities column, locate FTP Budget Offset Utility in the list, and click Process.

To process all planning utilities, click Process All.
